While living in the Southwest, I began to speculate on the possibility that there might be a connection between some Native American creation myths and ancient extraterrestrial contact. As it turns out, I’m not the only one to whom this has occurred. Many American Indian tribes (including the long-extinct Anasazi) believe they are Star Children, the closest living relatives we have left as a result of that contact. Quite a few non-natives believe this as well. It is not surprising that New Mexico is still the site of many ongoing anomalous events and UFO phenomena, not to mention the Roswell event in 1947. Thus the inspiration for my digital art.
